Missouri WIC Opens in new window

What is WIC?

Women, infants, and children (WIC) is a federally funded supplemental food program that provides nutrition education, breastfeeding education and support, health screening, referrals and healthy foods to women, infants and young children.

Who qualifies for WIC?

WIC serves pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women, infants and children up to their 5th birthday.

You must also live, work or receive medical care in Missouri, have a nutritional risk, and meet income guidelines to qualify. If you or someone in your household participates in SNAP, TANF or MO Health Net you may be automatically income eligible.

Please use the WIC prescreening tool or contact our office at 271-4723 to see if you qualify.

Appointments

Please call 271-4723 to make an appointment. If we are unable to take your call, please leave a message so we can return your call. Interpreting services are available upon request.

If you’d prefer, you may submit an online interest form and a WIC staff member from our office will contact you.

Office Hours

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The third Thursday of every month our office closes at 1 p.m. for staff meeting.

Breastfeeding

Our WIC agency is a Breastfeeding Friendly Clinic that provides breastfeeding education and support for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. We are here to help develop a successful breastfeeding relationship between you and your infant. WIC participants can access trained breastfeeding personnel seven days a week, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., by calling 271-4880.
