Infant, child, and adult immunizations are available through the St. Joseph Health Department. Until further notice, the intake process has been adapted to ensure physical distancing and to limit exposure to communicable diseases. For more details, see the press release (PDF)

The Clinic accepts many health insurance plans to help off-set the costs of vaccinations. Most immunizations do not require a co-pay or out-of-pocket expense. Immunizations are provided in the clinic through the Vaccine for Children (VFC) program to children from birth through 18 years of age. The health department also accepts Missouri HealthNet (Medicaid).

Services are provided Monday through Friday from 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. Please bring a copy of the most recent immunization record and insurance card. All children less than 18 years of age must be accompanied by parent or guardian. For additional information on the vaccines available and to determine eligibility, please call 816-271-4725

The Clinic organizes an annual public flu clinic that is typically held at an off-site location that is convenient to the public and can accommodate several hundred patrons. The annual flu clinic welcomes adults who live and work in St. Joseph. The vaccine at our annual flu clinic is free of charge.

The clinic can provide immunization clinics in the public, private, and parochial schools. Contact the clinic for more information.
