[ARCHIVED] Winter Pet Care

Cold Weather Pet Care

With the colder weather, it’s important to think about our four-legged friends. Ice melt can hurt your pet’s paws, so be sure to wash their feet when they’ve been exposed. Watch out for antifreeze as this poison will taste sweet to animals and is fatal if not treated immediately. Under city ordinance, animals cannot be tethered outside between 10pm-6am, for more than 30 minutes without adequate food, water and shelter. Animals cannot be tethered if the temperature is below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
