Councilmember Mike Grimm

Michael Grimm was elected to serve on the City Council in April 2022 as the District IV representative. A lifelong resident of St. Joseph, Mike served in the Air Force and is a Vietnam Veteran.

Mike worked more than thirty years as a corporate pilot, chief pilot and a director of flight operations. Mike has been married over 50 years. He promised himself that after he retired, he would give back to St. Joseph, and he has kept that promise.

Mike is Vice Chair of the Salvation Army Advisory Board of St. Joseph, Vice Chair of Vet to Vet, and has served on numerous City of St. Joseph boards.

Mike serves as the City Council representative to the Planning and Community Development department.
