Teleserve

Retired police officers staff the Teleserve Unit. They take police reports from citizens who wish to make reports for most non-violent crimes at the Law Enforcement Center, by telephone, and online. Teleserve personnel write a significant number of all non-violent crime reports taken by the Police Department and handle many calls for service that would otherwise require a police officer to respond. With this service available to citizens, police officers are better able to respond to priority calls, crimes in progress, and motor vehicle accidents.

Contact Teleserve if you need assistance with any of the following:

  • Theft not in progress
  • Property damage
  • Vandalism
  • Additional information for reports already reported to officers
  • Identity theft (walk in reports)
  • Fraudulent use of debit/credit cards (use of cards not authorized by victim)

If you would like to make a report over the phone call dispatch at 271-4777.
