The Family Crimes Unit is allocated one sergeant and five detectives. The unit's primary responsibility is investigating the following crimes:
- Sexual assault
- Child abuse and neglect
- Domestic Assault
- Stalking and Harassment
- Ex parte and Full Order of Protection Violations
- Interference with Child Custody and Parental Kidnapping
- Missing Persons
