Senior Citizen Foundation, Inc. Board
The board advises the City Council and parks, recreation, and civic facilities director on the administration of the Robert V. Werst bequest.

Social Welfare Board
This board provides medical and dental care to individuals who are not covered by any government program or by private insurance.

Tax Increment Financing Commission
This commission operates under the Real Property Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act of the Missouri Revised Statutes.

Tourism Commission
The commission shall have and may exercise only the powers, functions and duties pursuant to Section 67.1364 RSMo, as amended. The Commission shall annually elect a chairman from one of its members.

Trades Board of Appeals
The board hears and rules on appeals of orders, decisions and determinations by the chief building official and/or fire official related to applications and/or interpretation of the particular technical code involved. The group makes recommendations to the building regulations supervisor and the director of public works and transportation when requested.

This commission considers all proposed measures designed to improve traffic conditions.

This board provides recommendations to the council as to the regulation of the planting, maintenance, and removal of trees, shrubs, and other plants within the city.
