Continuum of Care

St Joseph/Buchanan, Andrew, DeKalb County Continuum of Care is a group of individuals and agencies working to end and reduce homelessness in our area.The purpose of the Continuum of Care is to promote community dialogue that creates community awareness of homelessness, establishes priorities on target populations to serve, and supports the development of an effective and compassionate response that assists a person’s move from homelessness to permanent housing. 

Meetings are held the last Wednesday of the month at 10am at United Way. located at 118 South 5th Street, and via Zoom. At meetings, the Continuum of Care engages in:

  • Information-sharing
  • Policy-making 
  • Resource allocation
  • Training, and 
  • Other like activities

FY2025 Continuum of Care

Update regarding the St. Joseph CoC NOFO competition: On January 8-9, 2026, HUD circulated an update via the SNAPS listserv and republished the FY24-25 CoC Program NOFO with updated dates. These announcements were in response to the Court Order to HUD to prepare to honor the structure and priorities of the FY24-25 NOFO.  The notices of funding opportunity announced in November and December have been superseded by this announcement.  No new CoC funding is available in St Joseph at this time.
